Cross-cutting activities
Research is the central task of the institute. It is organized via eleven research groups. In addition to these research groups and their fixed personnel compositions, ITAS conducts research in so-called cross-cutting activities. We understand the exchange of knowledge between research, politics and society as a central cross-cutting activity of Knowledge transfer. In addition, the orientation towards the goal of sustainable development is decisive for all activities of the institute, which is dealt with across all research groups in the cross-cutting activity of Sustainability.
