openTA portal launched [07.03.2014]

A new internet portal for those interested in Technology Assessment in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland has been launched. It is called the openTA portal and is available now as a beta version inviting feedback. The current level of development already offers a range of interesting functions and worthwhile content.

The project is funded by DFG, the largest German funding agency, and developed in close cooperation with the members of NTA (Network TA) comprising more than 40 institutions dealing with TA and many more individual members. In the project's first year, the openTA project team was able to develop concepts, and to develop and implement prototypes, which were tested by pilot users and discussed with them. With the launch of the beta version the current state of achievements can be inspected, used and tested by everyone.

The openTA portal can only succeed with the broad support from the network TA (NTA). Therefore, the openTA project team invites all members of NTA and all persons interested in TA to participate in openTA.

However, the use of the openTA portal is open to everyone and any feedback is welcome.
